ABOUT MATTHIEU RUIZ
My name is Matthieu Ruiz, I am a designer, I approach fashion in a raw, organic and spontaneous way.
Since 2018, I have also been an artisan, professionally trained in natural dyeing techniques, I approach dyeing as a real element of fashion design.
As a designer, it is essential for me to design products that have a healthy resonance in the world we live in.
Although I have a desire for evolution and an interest in always pushing creative boundaries, I want above all to preserve the spontaneous, positive, local, artisanal aspect which so characterizes my work and therefore my entire creative universe.
Coming from a background in global design at the University of Strasbourg, I therefore have an academic, sociological and philosophical approach to creation and creative experience.
This approach, coupled with craftsmanship and natural dyeing, tends to redefine the boundaries of fashion, color and their meaning in our daily lives.

Je m’appelle Matthieu Ruiz, je suis designer, j'aborde la mode de manière brute, organique et spontanée.
Depuis 2018, je suis également artisan, formé professionnellement aux techniques de teintures naturelles, j'aborde la teinture comme un véritable élément du design de mode.
En tant que designer, il est primordial pour moi de concevoir des produits qui ont eu une résonance saine dans le monde dans lequel nous vivons.
Bien qu'ayant une envie d'évolution et un intérêt pour toujours repousser les limites créatives, je veux avant tout conserver l'aspect spontané, positif, local, artisanal qui caractérise tant mon travail et par conséquent l'ensemble de mon univers créatif.
Issu d'une formation en design global à l'université de Strasbourg, j'ai donc une approche universitaire, sociologique et philosophique de la création et l'expérience créative.
Cette approche, couplée à l'artisanat et la teinture naturelle, tend à redéfinir les frontières de la mode, de la couleur et de leur sens dans notre quotidien.
